Clinical Pharmacist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice-based Clinical Pharmacist to join the Orwell Primary Care Network. The successful candidate will be based at Burlington Road Surgery. Our prescribing team is a proactive, well organised and are high achieving in prescribing targets.

The post holder will work within their clinical competencies as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide expertise in clinical medication reviews, long term condition management, care home medication review, telephone medicine support to patients and GP practice staff, working within practice prescribing protocols, updating and implementing change to ensure safe prescribing, while addressing both the public health and social care needs of patients in the GP practices that make up the PCN.

The role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and operational efficiencies, so requires motivation and passion to deliver an excellent service within general practice.

Ideally candidates will have completed the CPPE and be an independent prescriber with experience of medicine management.
