Services

The surgery offers a wide range of services which you can read about below

Services We Provide

Asthma / COPD Clinic

The Nurse helps with assessment and treatment of asthma and provides information. You will be invited for a review or to one of our group consultations every 12 months.

Diabetic Clinic

Some Clinitian at the Practice have had extra training in diabetes and run diabetic clinics. Patients managed solely by the practice are sent appointments for a full check annually and an interim six months review.

When you are invited to clinic you will also receive an appointment to have blood tests 2 weeks before. It is important to have these tests even if you have recently had other tests done. When you have attended a Nurse led clinic your notes will be sent to a Doctor for checking.

Cervical Smear Screening

Women are invited for cervical screening just before their 25th Birthday and will be recalled every 3 years until the age of 50. Ladies are then tested every 5 years until 64.

Cervical cancer affects 3,000 women each year. We have trained female nurses here to carry out this procedure.

  • It just takes a few minutes.
  • You will be treated with dignity, respect and patience.
  • If you are anxious or worried, extra time can be allocated when you book.

We have appointments as early as 7:00am for those that prefer to attend before work and also at the end of the day.
