About:
Dr Alimeta originates from Albania and qualified from the University of Tirana Medical School in 1998. She has worked in Ipswich Hospital and joined BPC as a registrar in 2006, after qualifying as a GP she went on to 1st become a full-time Associate GP and then achieved partnership in 2010.
Dr Alimeta's clinical interests include women's health and family planning.
Dr Alimeta was awarded Easten Anglia RCGP, Carol Brown Award 2026 for outstanding contribution to primary care in women's health services.
At home, she enjoys travelling, learning languages, and spending time with her family. Here at BPC, she is lead Doctor in Medicine Management and supporting further education of clinicians prescribing.
