Why Work With Us?
Interested in joining our practice? Here's why you should be!
We are a dedicated, patient and staff friendly practice, set close to Ipswich town centre, in a beautiful grade II listed building.
We look after over 17,000 patients so everyday is different!
We have a large number of staff, all working together for the common goal: quality patient care.
At BPC, we have a team made up of partners, salaried GPs, trainee GPs, advanced nurse practitioners, practice nurses, emergency care practitioners, health care assistants, pharmacists, admin assistants, care navigators, social prescribers and the management teams. As you can imagine, there's always someone about!
We are a professional team who also work together to have fun! Here are some pictures that capture our fun, smiles and events over the years. Some of these pictures were taken before the COVID-19 pandemic and others show how we are keeping ourselves happy and healthy during lockdown.
During the COVID-19 lockdown in March, we banded togther to lift everyone's spirits through lots of events.
We are a forward thinking practice, participating in the Green Impact for Health Award to become a more sustainable practice and have lots of projects running to help improve patient care. Some of these incude our BRASS project (Burlington Remote Access Assessment and Support Service) which links volunteers with housebound patients who are in need of equipment to monitor their health. We are also pleased to announce that we are an Armed Forces Veteran Friendly GP Practice and most recently a Research Practice.
We are an innovative Practice that makes the most of opportunities presented to us. During the 2020 flu season, we held our flu clinics at Ipswich Town Football Club. You can read the newspaper article here.
We are based in Ipswich, Suffolk and are roughly 1 hour from London and Norwich. Suffolk has much to offer including its 50 miles of glorious coastlines, breath-taking skies and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Featured below are pictures of the beautifuk Suffolk coast and Christcurch Mansion, one of Ipswich's finest historic buildings. Ipswich's waterfront has been recently renovated and hosts many bars and restaurants.
