Dr. Enela Alimeta of Burlington Primary Care has been honoured with the RCGP Carole Brown Award 2026, from the East Anglia Faculty of RCGP in recognition of her outstanding contributions and innovative work in family planning, reproductive health, and older women’s health.

Dr. Alimeta’s pioneering new model of care has significantly improved the efficiency of counselling and fitting long-acting reversible contraception (LARC). This initiative has enhanced service delivery, freed up valuable clinician appointment time, and achieved exceptionally high patient satisfaction rates.
