Talking Men’s Health Evening
Dr Dorsett Represents Our Surgery at Portman Road’s 'Talking Men’s Health Evening' with Ipswich Town Foundation
On 16th April 2026, one of our surgery partners, Dr Dorsett, was proud to take part in the Talking Men’s Health event held at Portman Road Ipswich.
The evening brought together members of the local community for important, honest, and insightful conversations about men’s health, a topic that is often overlooked or difficult for many to talk about openly.
The event featured contributions from George Burley and Simon Milton, well-known figures connected with Ipswich Town Football Club, who shared their perspectives and helped create a welcoming environment for discussion.
Delivered in partnership with NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board and Cancer Support Suffolk, the event focused on raising awareness of key issues affecting men’s physical and mental wellbeing, encouraging earlier conversations, and helping to reduce stigma around seeking support.
We are proud to see our team involved in community initiatives like this, helping to promote awareness beyond the consulting room and supporting conversations that can make a real difference to people’s lives.
